ABOUT
Participants will be allotted a specific place in the campus where they will propose a function to that area. Competition will go on for three days and a 1:100 scale model will be submitted on the final day with one A1 size sheet.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
• Forex sheet, thermocol, colored sheet, sketch pens set, glue, A1 sheet will be provided

• Areas will be allotted on spot.
• Decision of the jury will be final.
• Last date for registration 14th February 2018.  

ABOUT
The event asks the participants to build a bridge over the span of 50 centimeters with bamboo ice cream stick (5 cm each), which would be fused together with the help of masking tape and glue.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
• Entry will be eligible for judgment only if the bridge is successfully constructed.

• Wooden stick, masking tape, glue, cutter will be provided
• Bridge will be constructed over the span of 50 centimeters

ABOUT
Participants will be provided with a topic and 1 kg clay which they will transform into a figurine.

ABOUT
The participants will be given a topic for the event and the entries would be taken in the form of photographs behind which they’ll have to write 50 works about their idea.

ABOUT
The event asks the participants to craft a plane using their creativity and innovation which with make the flight that will bring them on the top.

ABOUT
The colourful lights, camera, audience and the stage awaits you. If you think you have what it takes, then we provide you the stage. Take your expression to next level and showcase your talent.

RULES
1. Exceeding the time limit will result in negative marking
2. Play could be in Hindi or English
3. Use of flammable substances like candle, matches, cigarettes, alcohol during performance on stage is not allowed and will result in disqualification
4. The performance can be original or an adaptation. In case of adaptation, it should be clearly specified
5. Any kind of vulgarity/obscenity will not be tolerated
6. One team can have a maximum of 10 members on stage
7. In case of any dispute decision of the coordinators and judges shall be final and conclusive
8. Each team can have a maximum of 3 backstage helpers including sound and light technician
9. Only one entry per institute is allowed

Time limit 40 to 60 Minutes (including stage setting time) to perform the full length of the play performed in Prelims.

In a mono act, an actor is totally vulnerable. His total personality is exposed to critical judgement- his intellect, his bearing, his diction, his whole appreance. If you can expose your emotion in front of the audience, we invite you.

RULES

2. It shall be a solo act so only one person per act is allowed. However, while performing an THYE act participant can play as many roles as he/she wants
3. Participants can use any supplementary/ items to perform their act in the best possible manner, which shall be arranged by participants on their own
4. Points will be awarded on basis of overall performance which includes acting skills, script, dialogue delivery, presentation and other
5. 3 entries per institute are allowed

Time limit 6 to 8 minutes 

In this fast and busy world, very few people have native taste in drama. If you can catch the attention and attract people to stay and watch your performance, we provide you the streets. No mics, no lights, no stage, the art of grabbing audience’s attention is all you need.

RULES

3. One team can have a maximum of 25 members
4. Vulgarity is strictly prohibited
5. Script should be original/ self-written and should not be copied. If found guilty, would result in disqualification of team
6. Any electronic device or recorded music is not allowed. Only live music is allowed
7. Try to keep the usage of props to the minimum
8. Only one entry per institute is allowed

ABOUT
As said by Eddie Vedder, It's a crazy world, so sports and athletics and music can be a form of escapism. Dive into the ocean of keys and melodies and find the pearl within you.

TIME LIMIT
Time Limit for Solo Singing is 3-4 minutes
Participants can perform with a karaoke track or get their own instrumentalists.
Maximum 3 participants from each college.
Participant must bring the karaoke in a pendrive in .mp3 format.

CATEGORIES
Any genre is welcome.

4. The decision of the organizers regarding the final line-up would be final.
5. Participant will not be allowed to refer to the lyrics while singing. 

TIME LIMIT
Time Limit for the performance is 15 minutes. (excluding sound check)
Maximum one band from each college.

6. Basic sound equipment and a standard drum-kit will be provided, bands are however advised to bring their own guitars, keyboards, and additional equipment.
7. There is no upper-limit for the number of members in a band, however at any point of time at least three members need to be on the stage.
8. Bands will be given 15 minutes time before their performances for sound setup. They can save the patches at that moment for their performances.
9. The performance time is limited to 15 minutes per band.
10. No pre-recorded audio or MIDI interfaces are allowed. However bands can use looper pedals for live loopings.
11. The judge’s decision will be final.
12. Any change in the above rules will be notified to the concerned bands prior to their
performances. 

Solo/ Duet Dance

ABOUT
Let’s create a multiple rhythm with a solo move or single rhythm with dual move. A performance which awakens the soul from within in any of the dance form and compels the audience to applaud.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA

3. Choreography
4. Coordination/ synchronization
5. The authenticity of dance form

NOTE
1. The brief explanation of the dance (storyline) should be given prior to
the performance.
2. Specify the dance forms to be presented.

RULES
1. Performance duration allotted is 3 minutes (max.). Additional 2 minutes for stage clearance. Exceeding this will lead to penalization of marks.
2. Number of entries are 2 per college.
3. All dance forms except folk are allowed.
4. Participants can use props suited to their performances. Props which might cause inconvenience to the other teams or cause damage to the stage or the surroundings, will not be entertained under circumstances.
5. You must bring edited music/songs in a pen drive with the name of college. No audio cassettes are allowed.
6. Music should not contain abusive or offensive words.

About
Looking forward to the theme something that you hope for or want but that is not possible or real. A world of illusion through flexible movements and the blend of various dance forms to create a power performance which drives the audience into another world. So step on the stage, with magic of moves and steal the show.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Performance duration allotted is 6 minutes. Additional 2 minutes for stage clearance.
2. Narration at the beginning of the performance shall not exceed a 200 word limit.
3. Marks will be deducted in case time limit is exceeded.
4. Minimum participants of 4 and maximum of 8, not more than four backstage helpers will be permitted.
5. Only 1 team per college will be allowed.
6. Any sort of offensive behavior or vulgarity observed during the performance may lead to disqualification.
7. Using hazardous or dangerous props are prohibited.
8. Use of alcohol, cigarettes or any other hazardous materials during the performance shall lead to disqualification of the team from the competition.
9. Two copies of the sound track of standard audio format mp3 of sound quality 192 kbps or above should be submitted at least 5 hours prior to the competition. It should be submitted in a pen drive or a CD.
10. It is recommended that the contestants bring back up music in the event of a mal function of the original music submitted.
11. Institution revealing its identity in any for at the time of screening or during the performance will be disqualified right away. 

LITERARY

About
For all quizzing enthusiasts, this event is sure to get your brain ticking and put your general knowledge and logical reasoning to test. So come and crack the answers to a diverse set of questions from all genres in our multiple round quiz.

Rules and Regulations:
1. Four teams from each college are to participate in this event.
2. Each team should consist of two members.
3. The questions asked will be of various genres and do not require prior preparation.

About
This event is all about thinking on the spot and presenting your views in the best possible way. So if presence of mind and oratory skills are your strong suits, the Extempore event is meant for you.

Rules and Regulations:
1. Two participants are required from each college- one for Hindi Extempore and one for English.
2. A preparation time of 10 minutes will be given to each participant.
3. A duration of 5 minutes will be given to each participant to speak in front of the judges.
4. Hindi and English Extempore will be judged separately.

COMPUTER GAMING

"The further you get into technology, the further you go into gaming. That's the general rule."

RULES
There will be a league between the colleges as 1 map will be played in the league and for the final "BEST OF THREE MAPS". Winner of toss eliminates one.

➢ There will be a toss to decide which map to play.
➢ Winner eliminates 2 maps and the opponent eliminates 1, remaining map shall be played.
➢ There will be a knife round to decide the sides (CT/T).
➢ Winner will be decided by race to 16, after 15 rounds teams swap.

Competition Method
5 vs. 5 (Team Play, 5 players per team)
Round Time: 1 minute 45 seconds.
C4 Timer: 35 seconds.

➢ Basic configuration files (CFG) will be allowed with no illegal scripts.
➢ Players can bring their own gaming accessories (Headphones, mouse pad, mouse)
➢ Unfair Practices are Subjected to disqualification.

If disconnection occurs during a match 
➢ If all the players cannot play due to an unintended, unforeseen accident such as server stoppage, before
the 3rd round starts: Match will be restarted.
➢ After the 3rd round starts: Disconnected player must re-connect to the server. The round is continued
unpausing, and if the disconnected player cannot connect to the server, all players must wait during the
freeze time after the round until the disconnected player connects to the server. At this time, the match may
continue by unpausing. (Not a restart).
➢ If up to 3 of all players are unintentionally disconnected: The score for that round is discarded. The game
is paused after the round during the freeze time, and all players wait until the disconnected players are
connected to the server. When all players are connected, the match may continue by unpausing the game.
Note:
➢ The team must confirm their entries with the game coordinators at the venue 15 minutes Prior to
the event.
➢ All the rules are subjected to change at the discretion of the gaming coordinators.
➢ The gaming coordinator's decision will be final.

1. Only 3 entries per participant is allowed.
2. A registration code is being assigned to the individual after their registration.
3. Save the file in the name of given registration code.
4. Only necessary retouching which will not change the original appearance of the
photograph is allowed.
5. Plagiarism will be dealt severely.
6. Any watermark or photographer's name on photo or in the entry will not be
accepted.

SPORTS

Sports do not build character. They reveal it.

1. Team Cap :12
2. In a single innings, each of the bowlers can bowl a maximum of only one-fifth of the total over i.e. 4 over in a total of 20 over.
3. The matches will be played with SG Club 4 Piece.
4. There shall be runs for byes as well as leg byes.
5. No. of over shall vary according to the round.
6. There will be 3 league matches of 10 over each and final will be of 15/16 over.
7. All the teams are required to bring their own cricket kits and team members are required to have white cricket kit, failing to do so team will get disqualified.
8. The decision of the Umpires is to be considered as the final call and any violation of the same would lead to disqualification of the team.
9. All the teams are required to board the bus before 6:00 am as the match will take place in different institute. Timing 6:00 am to 10:00 am

1. The team should have 12 players, 8 for the playing team and 4 players on the bench.
2. The game shall be played for the duration of 40 minutes, i.e. two periods of 20 minutes each.
3. A break of 5 minutes will be given in between two halves.
4. All the players are supposed to carry their identity cards to the fields, in case of any problems and to seek clarifications for the same.
5. Player’s will not be allowed to play without a proper kit, i.e. Shoes and Shin guards.
6. There will be running substitution.
7. Red cards will not be carried forward to the next match, but will be effective for the same match.
8. The decision of the referee is to be considered as the final call and any violation of the same would lead to disqualification of the team.
9. A player sent off for serious foul play, foul and abusive language or repeated serious offences to the game may be suspended for the rest of the tournament.
10. The managing committee is entitled to change or alter the fixtures as per their convenience.
11. The other rules of the game are the same as that of FIFA and will be played accordingly.
12. Violation of any of the above rules would lead to disqualification the team.
